I was lucky enough to be involved as an engineer and cello arranger for Charlie's original version of Mona's Prayer. I remember falling in love with this song after my very first listen. I know that it might sound a little corny, but I made a point to use the very same acoustic guitar and microphone as well as play in the same room that Charlie sat and played years ago. This helped me to get into a special creative headspace. It is an honor to be on this record with so many friends. Special thanks to Jeff for putting this together, and May God bless Charlie and his family.
